"Mazzucco" is a well-known surname in Rota d′Imagna, the name of a family that has managed the bakery grocery store in the center of town for over 50 years.
The store has been in the heart of the town since the 1950s and has been managed by Giovanni since 1971, who then passed it down to his son Davide, the current owner.
The business is well known throughout the area and is responsible for the daily production of bread, baked goods, biscuits and pastries, which can be purchased either at its Rota d′Imagna location, at its sales point in Capizzone with an attached coffee shop, or at the pastry shop in Almenno San Salvatore. The shop offers many delicious and healthy products, made as much as possible with local ingredients and respecting traditional recipes. In 2021, the Mazzucco Bakery received the recognition as a "Historic Shop" for its 50 years of activity.

PRODUCTS
Bread
The Mazzucco Bakery bakes fresh and fragrant bread daily, made with selected ingredients and artisan passion. Available to customers are about ten types of bread, from common bread to bread with seeds, wholemeal and cereal bread, olive oil bread, durum wheat bread, and various others. On Sundays, special breads are also prepared with olives, walnuts, and raisins to satisfy the most demanding palates.
Pizza and Focaccia
In the store, there is never a shortage of freshly baked pan pizzas and focaccias, with many different combinations, from the most traditional to the more tantalizing ones. Fresh and genuine ingredients and a slowly leavened dough contribute to a product that is hard to resist. Each slice is a celebration for the palate, with melted cheeses, juicy tomatoes, and fresh seasonal ingredients.
Bakery Products
From the scent of freshly baked brioches to breadsticks, there are many sweet and savory products that bring together tradition and creativity. Be sure to also try the rich assortment of cookies, all handmade, including chocolate shortbread, plain shortbread, bicolor, walnut and coffee, and cantuccini, also available pre-packaged for convenient enjoyment at home.
Pastry
The pastry department prepares with passion and creativity traditional sweets, such as tarts, strudels, cakes with fruit and cream, but also personalized cakes to celebrate birthdays and events. Furthermore, during holidays, large leavened products such as colomba, panettone, and pandoro, are always available in their traditional versions as well as stuffed ones to create new flavors and tantalize the palate.
